Or perhaps you've been working on poses like Crow (Bakasana), Side Crow (Parsva Bakasana), and Flying Pigeon (Eka Pada Galavasana) but struggle to find stability? This workshop is designed to help you build the strength, technique, and confidence to take flight.

More Than Just Strength—A Yogic Perspective

Ancient yogis didn’t just practice arm balances for physical strength—they saw these postures as tools for cultivating focus, inner stillness, and energy control. Balancing on your hands requires complete presence, activating deep core muscles while sharpening the mind. These poses cultivate Tapas (discipline) helping to build resilience and trust in oneself.

What to Expect:

  • Foundation & Preparation – We’ll begin with a dynamic flow to warm up the body and activate key muscle groups, focusing on wrist, shoulder, and core strength.

  • Breaking Down the Mechanics – Step-by-step guidance on how to enter, hold, and exit arm balances safely. Learn how to engage the right muscles, distribute weight effectively, and find ease in flight.

  • Exploring Variations – Options will be offered for different levels, whether you’re working toward your first Crow Pose or refining advanced transitions like Flying Pigeon.

The Yogic Approach to Arm Balances – These poses symbolise lightness, liberation, and playfulness in yoga. We’ll explore how shifting our perspective—both physically and mentally—can bring confidence and joy to our practice.
