The Embodied Flow Women’s Retreat
A six-night retreat to step away, reconnect, and do something just for you - to feel deeply, move with presence, and build a steady, lasting inner fire.
Saturday 27th February - Friday 5th March 2027
Soul House, Ahangama
An invitation to Return To Yourself.
To step away from routine and responsibility.
To breathe, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.
The Yoga
Is it right for you?
Whether you’re completely new to yoga or have an established practice, you are warmly welcomed here.
Rather than focusing on how things look, the invitation is to move in a way that helps you feel more connected to your body, your breath, and yourself.
For those who enjoy a stronger, more dynamic practice — there is space for that. For those seeking something slower and more restorative — that is equally held. Options are always offered, within a supportive and non-judgemental environment.
The only physical requirement is that you feel comfortable getting up and down from the floor with relative ease.
Throughout the week, you will experience a blend of:
– Embodied Vinyasa and deep stretch asana (posture) practices, balancing both yang and yin energies
– Opportunities to explore your practice more deeply through optional workshops
– Gentle hands-on guidance and soothing savasana assists
– Pranayama (breathwork) to support the nervous system and deepen your connection inward
This is a space to meet yourself exactly where you are — and to explore from there.
Hear from Women Who Joined Last Year
There is something powerful about stepping away from daily life and sharing a week of practice, reflection, and connection with a small group of women.
Here are a few reflections from those who joined us on the previous two retreats.
A Gentle Rhythm to Each Day
Each day is thoughtfully held, with space for both structure and spaciousness.
Mornings begin slowly, often in silence, with meditation, breathwork, and an energising yoga practice to awaken the body and steady the mind. From there, we gather for nourishing meals, with time to rest, explore, or simply be.
Afternoons are intentionally open — whether that looks like time by the pool, connecting with others, journaling, or joining optional activities and local experiences.
As the day softens, we come back together for evening practice - slower, more restorative sessions designed to help you unwind, integrate, and reconnect.
This isn’t a schedule to keep up with, but a rhythm to drop into - one that supports you in receiving exactly what you need from the week.
See our example schedule from last year here.

Everything is taken care of, so you can fully arrive, soften, and receive.

The Space
A place to soften, slow down, and feel held.
Soul House, our home for the week, is a peaceful sanctuary nestled in the jungle just outside Ahangama, on Sri Lanka’s southwest coast.
Surrounded by lush greenery, the space feels gently removed from the noise of everyday life, while still held within the natural rhythm of the island, with the ocean just moments away.
With only a small number of rooms available, the retreat is intentionally intimate, allowing for both connection and space to retreat when needed.
There’s space to practise, rest, and connect - in your own way, at your own pace.
Rooms are simple, calm, and comfortable.

Your Host
/ Eliana
Eliana is passionate about creating inclusive, welcoming spaces where yoga feels accessible to everyone. Her classes are both dynamic and grounding, blending playful, embodied movement with slower, more restorative practices that invite you to soften and rest.
Her teaching is deeply influenced by the intersection of yoga, somatics, and the nervous system. By weaving together contemporary understanding with the ancient wisdom of yoga, she offers a space where you can reconnect with yourself in a more intuitive and supportive way.
Rather than focusing on how things look, Eliana’s approach encourages you to feel, to listen inward, to move in a way that meets your body where it is, and to explore your own path to wellbeing.
Her intention is to gently support self-healing, inner connection, and a deeper sense of steadiness — both on and off the mat.

November until April are generally the sunnier months of the year with less rainfall. Average temperatures each day are approximately 31 degrees celsius with quite high humidity. There tends to be little to no rain so you can pack summer clothes and swimwear.
If you’ve felt a quiet pull while reading this, you’re very warmly invited to join us.
This retreat isn’t about becoming someone new but about returning to yourself, supported by practice, nature, and a circle of women walking alongside you.
Spaces are limited, and each room is held with care.
Whenever you feel ready, we’d love to welcome you.
